2.when Macbeth was with lady Macbeth in her room, he used his hands to turn off the candle's light. that was quite interesting because i think in a way, this is foreshadowing Macbeth's light of life is turned off by himself. everything he gets at the end was what he deserved.

about the Macbeth movie
1. in this movie, when Macbeth went to the witches' place, all of them were naked. i think maybe because they are giving out other people's future destinies. they should give the exactly honest ones. nothing should be added on, like their bodies, which were exposed to everyone . if they had clothes on, then it would be too much.

the sunshine
when i lay on the ground,
the sunlight makes me couldn't open my eyes completely.
it feels like that i just get out of bed.
everything is not that clear.
i don't want to do anything else besides taking a nap.
the grass touches like a comfortable bed.
just sleep, sleep and sleep.
i feel like that i m in a bubble when i close my eyes.
everything is warm and fuzzy.
i like that, a lot.

the poem " Ithaca"
in this poem, the author considers Ithaca as the final destination of Odysseus's journey but not the goal of this whole journey. the point of this journey is not getting back to Ithaca as soon as possible, it is learn and enjoy the things along his journey. therefore, this journey should be as long as possible. " Ithaca has given you the beautiful voyage. without her you would have set out on the road. she has nothing more to offer you." Ithaca is like the dream place. everybody wants to go there, but not everybody has the right to be there. so they try, harder and harder, again and again. at last, maybe they finally arrive at Ithaca. but at that time. being there is not that important anymore. it is like in our lives. we all know that everybody is going to die. the matter is only about the time. that is the final destination.without any doubts. so what we can do is only to make the days we actually live on this earth better.

Odysseus's vision about human condition
In line 149-161, Odysseus thinks that the humans' destinies are depending on the gods. When they are in the good moods, they may give you some good moments for you to enjoy. However, there is nothing you can do when they take it back and replace with suffering. Everything in humans' lives are not controlled by theirselves. Odysseus has this kind of conclusion about life because he has already done everything he could to come home, but because of blinding Poseidon's son's eye, he has to spend ten more years as the pay back for that. Ten-year-suffering. That is not something that normal people can imagine. How many ten-years do humans have in their lives? A god can just take it from him that easily. For Odysseus, this strengths between him and the god are not equal. In my point of view, i am a little bit disagree with him.Sure we can't avoid from natural disasters or genetic diseases, but we can try our best to fight with it. Try to survive. when bad things happen, the only thing we should do is making it gets better. That is what we do. we can't just give up due to the fact it is not caused by our own. the direction of lives are pointed by ourselves. whether it is bright or dark, it is our decisions.

the kingdom of death!..
death, it is really a scary word. Nobody wants to die, nobody wants to leave their families, nobody wants to give up all the things that they have been working for that easily. In my opinion, not everybody should go to the kingdom of death. It varies for different people depends what they have done when they are alive.
The kingdom of death should be a place provided for the people have done bad things.it is located far beneath the surface of earth. The environment here is foggy and smelly. No one can see anything farther than 10 meters. There are a lot of trees, people are living in the caves under the tree. they are not allowed to go out except during evenings. they don't eat, but it is not because they are not hungry, they have to hide their desires of food in order to get out of the kingdom of death. everybody here needs to be here for at least 100 years as a pay back for what they have done wrong. however, they have the right to drink, but it is not water, it is the combination of pees and shits which are coming from the animals up in the mortal world. Those people need water as much as the mortals, but there is nothing they can do about it. if they don't drink it, they don't even have the chance to leave this place to be a mortal again. during the day time, due to the fact that they cant get out of the caves, they are divided into 3 groups and put into 3 different pools-greediness,deception and betrayal. the more evil they are, the more they will hurt from the pool. there will be scars all over their bodies, but it will disappear when the night comes, at the time the pool wont hurt them, that is the time they can leave the kingdom of death. actually, the goal of inventing this place is not fully for punishment, it is also for enlightments. when they leave, they should have already learned "forgiveness". i think what the "forgiveness " is, is just when you step on a flower, you totally destroy it, but it still leave the amazing smell on your foot. that is forgiveness. when they can realize that, they are good to go.

Tina, you consider the consequences of mortality and immortality brilliantly in this piece of writing. I especially liked the examples you gave. Your writing has a very sincere, honest quality that is very compelling. You said to be immortal is to be "the obstacle of the progress of human beings"--this is an excellent interpretation of how literature explores immortality. If you know the story of Adam and Eve, you know that ultimately, their mistake (which makes them mortal) represents progress. Good work!

Do I want to be a mortal?
About this question, I think my answer will be yes. An eternal life maybe means that I can get whatever i want, but, do I still know what exactly I want when my life is undying? i don't think so.
At that time, I think my life will be just meaningless. I won't feel anything about the world, about my life. because all the people that i love is already dead, so, I think I will lose the will to love others, because sooner or later, they will die anyway, they will leave me here, alone.
Living in a long time sounds really exciting at first, but it will get tired. People always want to get the things they can't get. However, when you are able to get everything but you beloved people's lives. What will you feel then? Useless? Rueful?
The reason why the classics are classics is because they are rare. They desire to be remembered. If people can't get the point of living, then no matter how powerful you are, how long you will going to live, you will be painful, not physically, but mentally. That is not caused by the eternal life, but by the confusion of life.
Without the grief of death, you can't feel the joy of life. Just like if you never taste the bitter food, how could you recognize the sweet one?
If there are any flowers that can blossom in every season, if there are any trees that can be evergreen, then, we can live without eating. but i don't think that i can see the point of living. I'd rather die, at the time i still have some feelings.
A hundred years is long enough for me. Living farther than that, it is just wasting food , polluting fresh air,and becoming the obstacle of the progress of human beings.
